Period House Restoration / Work

Our most common period property is the Victorian.

We can repair and restore box sash windows with specialist machined components; Draft proof brush pile and nylon beads, stop beads all machined into the sashes and frame to produce a gliding and free from sticking motion.

We can make and restore period facias, soffit and barge boards also period rainwater goods cast iron and powder coated aluminium in multiple colours.

As you can see from the image all sorts of designs can be re-produced and copied to your requirements.

We also supply and fit period skirting boards, Architrave and doors made to measure. Some of the larger homes especially with high ceiling have huge internal doors which are 7 feet high and 3 feet wide, we can supply and fit along with the period locks and knobs. Some of the skirting boards we have fitted have been so large they have been in 3 pieces and 18 inches in height. The architrave also are in large proportions 6 inches in width.

We have other craftsmen who do replace glass, stained glass etc.
